All Services are provided free of charge to both Job Seekers and Employers. To become a member, visit the Career Center. A Counselor will then contact you to set up an appointment for an employment needs assessment. You will attend an informational session called a Career Center Seminar (CCS) which provides a comprehensive overview of our services.

  • DisabilityInfo.gov – Provides extensive information regarding people with disabilities, and links to numerous web sites offering resources, services, and technical assistance.
  • DisabilityResources.org – The Disability Resources Monthly Guide (DRM) to Disabilities Resources on the Internet. Provides a detail list of Massachusetts web sites offering resources, services, and technical assistance for persons with disabilities.
  • ForEmployers.com – This site uses technology and flexible design strategies (or universal design) to bridge the needs of the business community and the employment needs of people with disabilities. The site provides straightforward solutions and information that address everyday human resource issues, especially as they relate to current or future employees with disabilities.
  • HirePotential  – HirePotential specializes in placing people with disabilities in rewarding, competitive jobs with attractive benefits at leading companies across the country. You can send your resume using their online tool, or view current job openings on their database.
  • JobAccess  – The site allows job seekers to search for jobs and post resumes online, and also allows employers to post available positions.
  • Job Accommodation Network – Comprehensive information about employing and retaining workers with disabilities, including resources for job accommodations.
  • New England ADA & Accessible IT Center – The New England ADA & Accessible IT Center provides information and guidance on the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 508, and accessible information technology to individuals with disabilities living in New England.
  • National Organization on Disability – Access current disability-related news as well as a wide range of resources and information about increasing the participation of people with disabilities in all aspects of life.
  • Office of Disability Employment Policy  – This U.S. Department of Labor office helps increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through education, training, assistive technology, and awareness programs.
  • Sight Careers Network – eSight is a comprehensive and free Internet service to help blind and visually impaired individuals create new career and employment opportunities. eSight has been developed to meet the career management needs of the blind and low-vision community and is designed to be totally accessible and easily navigated. eSight provides high quality, relevant and authoritative content on managing your career, assistive technology, and entrepreneurship.
  • The Work Site – This Social Security Administration (SSA) web site facilitates the employment of beneficiaries with disabilities through partnerships and program innovation.
  • Ready Set Hire – Ready Set Hire is a network of specialized employment agencies throughout Western Massachusetts whose mission is to provide local employers with a ready source of qualified employees. On average, partners in our network have more than 30 years of successful job development, placement and support experience with persons with developmental disabilities. As the largest source of work-ready, developmentally disabled individuals in the region, we are uniquely positioned to meet the human resource needs of employers with access to an underutilized, but highly qualified, labor pool.
  • Ticket to Work  – The Ticket to Work and Self-Sufficiency Program is an employment program for people with disabilities who are interested in going to work. The Ticket Program is part of the Ticket to Work and Work Incentives Improvement Act of 1999 – legislation designed to remove many of the barriers that previously influenced people’s decisions about going to work because of the concerns over losing health care coverage. The goal of the Ticket Program is to increase opportunities and choices for Social Security disability beneficiaries to obtain employment, vocational rehabilitation (VR), and other support services from public and private providers, employers, and other organizations.
  • National Center on Workforce and Development – The National Center on Workforce and Disability/Adult (NCWD) provides training, technical assistance, policy analysis, and information to improve access for all in the workforce development system.  NCWD’s areas of expertise include: Designing access for all, Accommodations & assistive technology, Developing employer relationships, Helping customers find jobs, Job-related support, Legal requirements & guidelines, Partnerships & funding, Disability policy, Marketing & outreach.
